Practical Wellness Education in Action!

One of my favorite ways to reach lots of people at one time is through interactive, educational workshops providing practical strategies that participants can begin implementing right away! My master’s degree in mass communications and loads of real-life experience combined with my broad knowledge of nutrition, fitness, and overall wellness ensure a quality program for groups of any size and in a wide variety of formats. I provide key take-aways and tools to ensure the workshop is just the beginning of the journey for attendees. We all know what it’s like to sit through a workshop thinking about how much you can’t wait to put into practice the new ideas and concepts…but then life happens. You go back to work or home, you get sucked back into the black hole of your email in-box, or you just naturally get distracted by all of life’s goings-on. That’s totally normal! So it’s one of my top goals for every workshop to make sure I’ve done everything within my powers to ensure participants are well-equipped and motivated to implement what they learned right away.

These 6 Keys address wellness through a holistic lens, grounded in the realistic challenges we all face as humans along with the dreams we have for living our happiest, healthiest life. It’s no secret we spend way too much time sitting, especially during the workday. This highly interactive “deskercise” experience helps participants learn how to incorporate more healthy movement into their workday, and enhance physical strength, mobility, and overall vitality. Highlights include:

And there are lots of factors that go into sleep QUALITY. How exactly do you know if you’re getting enough or the right kind of sleep? That’s 3 TIMES the recommended amount! Cutting back on sugar is one of the hardest diet changes to make. But with some effective tools in place and a little persistence, even the fiercest sugar addicts among us can take control, make small changes, and live a healthier, less sugar-coated life!
